About

Ceri Kerrin

I'm a HPCSA registered Counselling Psychologist with experience in psychotherapy and cognitive, personality and neuropsychological assessments. In my private practice, I work with a variety of mental health challenges including addictive disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma and grief.

Prior to qualifying as a psychologist, I worked within in the education sector. Throughout my training and as a qualified psychologist, I have worked in a variety of settings including Educational Organisations,  The Brain Injury Association and various inpatient addiction treatment facilities.

I work from an integrative treatment approach that focuses on whole person development. I view therapy as an exciting but challenging process of growth and self-discovery. In my sessions, I promote behavioural transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and reactions.

In addition to my private practice, I consult for an inpatient addiction treatment facility, facilitate workshops for Addictions Counsellor Certifications South Africa (ACCSA), and provide supervision for  Work Integrated Learning students at the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP).

I have the tools and professional experience to guide you on the path of self-discovery and healing.
